If you’re looking for a quality essential oil diffuser with some added features, the the Whisper Essential Oil Diffuser is worth considering. At 8″ tall x 3½” wide x 3½” deep, this lightweight essential oil diffuser has a small footprint so it’s perfect for sitting on your bedside table or transporting from room to room.
As an added feature, the Whisper features blue lights for atmosphere, but they can be easily turned off if you plan on using it in an office environment.
Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffusers
Ultrasonic diffusers create a fine mist just like nebulizing diffusers; however, the method is very different. The Whisper diffuser vibrates at 2.5 million vibrations per second which causes the essential oil to disperse into a fine mist. These small particles quickly scatter and are more readily absorbed by the body for a superior therapeutic effect on the body, mind, and spirit. This method is preferable to heat because it does not alter the chemistry of the essential oil.
Diffuse Thicker Essential Oils
This machine allows you the ability to diffuse thicker essential oils. Aroma diffusers sometimes have problems with thicker essential oils such as Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, or Patchouli.
However, this does not mean you can use any oil in this machine. You should use only pure therapeutic grade essential oils. The manufacturer recommends Young Living Essential Oils.
Other features include:
• Quiet operation
• Adjustable voltage (110-240 VAC, 47-63 Hz)
• Two Way Timer
• Adjustable blue lights
• 1000 square foot coverage
Customer Reviews For the Whisper
At the time of this review, the Whisper is rated 3.6 out of 5 stars. Most buyers feel this essential oil diffuser represents good value for the money with the favorite features being the ability to run it all day using the timer, and its ability to function on smaller amounts essential oil in comparison to other diffusers.
Customers having issues with the diffuser primarily complain of difficulty with the cups used for the essential oil. Remember, it’s important to read the User Guide which says that oils should not be added to the base. Essential oil should be placed in the liner cup and not in the measuring cup or the water tank.
Unlike most aromatherapy diffusers, use of tap water is recommended because the minerals are needed by the diffuser to mist properly. If you live in a dry climate, you may need to add an addition 2-3 tablespoons of water before the unit’s cycle finishes.
